getting too much spark...
So I'm driving to work on I-95 today and I look in the drivers side mirror and almost have a heart attack. A nice little trail of sparks is following my car. After the usual expletives and steering wheel banging I pull over and pop the hood which now has smoke rolling out from under it. luckily, as bad as it sounds, it's nothing major. My AC compressor clutch locked up and heated red hot...lmao. Guess it's time for an AC delete. Because I have an H23A (almost the same as H23A1 block with H22 head), can I just order a belt for a H23A1 that didn't have AC. What would it be called? An alternator belt? Because mine is ALL f-ed up.
Get one for an F22 without AC or just measure the length you need. All H23s had AC as far as I know...it's usually called an accessory belt.
I assume your referring to part #25-060370 Napa. This is a 6 tooth belt...I need a five. I don't even know if it would be the right length. Anyone have an h23 with an AC delete?

Well, don't assume then. The H23 and F22 don't use 6-rib belts, they use 5 rib belts.
I have deleted the AC on my H23 and all I had to do was measure the length of belt I needed and went to the auto parts store and got the belt.
