y8 im z6 head....

Default y8 im z6 head....

im thinking about hooking a y8 im on my z6 head. its a 93 civic ex that has d16z6. is there anything extra, as far as sensors and wut not on the y8 im? also same with the header, i think the header bolts right on right?? thx

im sry didnt read correctly. look above the injector holes...see those tiny pin holes?? Get some Plastic Epoxy or ?JB weld and fill the in not to far in more like a thin layer of skin. Use your stock throttle body. And use any d16 intake gasket bolt it up and check for air leaks. And yes the y8 heaader mounts write up.the mani worked wonders on my turbo d

I had debated swapping the z6 mani for a y8 on my turbo setup. I heard the y8 has odd length runners, and is harder to tune individual fuel trims. Just my opinion, and prob not an issue on 8-10lbs.

But yes, everything should bolt right up. If you're NA, the y8 injectors will need to be swapped for z6 (obd1 vs obd2)
