Newbie needs help
i bought the Sir a/c console and im trying to wire it to my 98 harness..
i dont have any a/c in my car so its not like i really need it to work, i just want the digital display to light up. i cant seem to figure it out and was wondering if anyone on here could help..
here's pics of what it looks like:

i did the dummie route and hooked all the spliced wires to the positive terminal and never lit up =/

Whatchu talkin' 'bout Willis?
No matter how many wires you hook up to positive, the light will never illuminate if you don't have the electric circuit (in this case, we'll use the plural "circuits") connected to a ground, thus completing the circuit.
Simple circuit is comprised of an energy source (12v in this case), a conductive pathway (insulated, copper wire), a load (the light), and a ground (this crucial point was missing).
Be careful messing with electronic components if you don't know what you're doing. You can easily fry that circuitry in that dash component, and then you're out of that hard-earned cash you spent on it. Unless, of course, you actually wanted to use that piece as a paper weight, and in that case, success!

it should be pretty easy to find pinouts for getting the lights to work, but the display may be a bit trickier.... ive never noticed that display before in any of my buddies cars
yah im having probs with using the rhd heater and ac boxes in my del sol cause of the servos that change it from hot to cold since i used the usdm harness .. but ill figure it out after i get my new multi meter
