Carbon fiber problem help please??
I got a carbon fiber duckbill i just bought used. It has some spots in it looks like the clear coat is missing its 3 spots alil bit bigger then a silver dollar.
Is it possible i can wetsand them out with 1600 or 2000 grit??
Or maybe wetsand it then reclear it myself with a can of clear??
Any advice or ideas i could try before i start trial and error and ruin it causing me to paint it?

ok i wetsanded it today with 2000 grit. I took out all the orange peel look in the clear coat and the 3 areas of concern. It is kinda dull now i don't think i took off the clear coat with 2000 grit but might have.
Is thier anything i can do to possibly bring it back out alittle??
How would it look if i cleared it with a can of clear, then re wetsanded it??

i just put on some polishing compound i had laying around.. i rubbed it on lightly and it turned out alot better, i think once i buy a decent rub on wax it will look pretty damn good..
