Best dirt tires for the money?
I am looking to get some good dirt tires for my 90 civic, which brands should I stay away from, or go to? I would prefer a cheaper set, since I am pretty poor, lol.

Well not like we have a lot of choices here in the states.
Kumhos V700's were the best bang for the buck, hands down. Half the price of Michelin's.
But can't get Kumhos or even Falkens anymore.
Basically are a few brands we can still get.
Silverstone is probably the least expensive. Pretty good tires, about $120 each. Not my favorite, but still fairly competitive. Several tread designs, sizes and compounds.
Hankooks are around the same price as Silverstone, seem to be competitive, perhaps a bit faster than the Silverstones. Several tread designs, sizes and compounds.
Michelin is probably the best tires you can get for gravel. In my experience they have been great. Will pay $160-185 per tire. They seem to wear very evenly vs. the other brands which tend to chunk and rip.
More rare are Pirelli and Yokohama's gravel tires, seem to be more available in Canada. Are as expensive as the Michelin's, but don't seem to quite have the performance. Good tires though, just not the best, and not the best bang for the buck either.
Frankly the best gravel tires for the money are take offs from a rally team. What size you looking for?

I agree with what Rotten says. We used Pirelli on the front of our type r at Rally WV. I've done back to back testing, Silverstone and Pirelli. There's no question, but we got the Pirelli's for free. Can't even buy them here now. I'll use up the silverstone's I have, and that's it for non-french/italian tires.....Yokohama's are softer sidewall, not as good either. Silverstone/Hankook for testing. Michelin/Pirelli for winning.
