Will a 1988 or 1991 CRX Si transmission bolt on my SOHC ZC Engine??
I have 1990 civic hatch with ZC swap. thanks

Just make sure you have the right clutch disk for the transmission and for the flywheel.

D series transmissions fit in all d series engines with the exceptions of going from cable to hydraulic.

Nope, sorry.

Try bolting up a D16A1 trans. to any other D-series engine. There's also the issue of 88 transmissions on non-88 vehicles.

Hydro transmissions will bolt up as well, but the mounts are different.

it will, and is the preferred transmission for that motor.

The only post whoring i seen here is the guys complaining that some one is post whoring LMAO, and I will go with the crowd here i def like the SI tranny better even if it revs higher on the highway a little.

Dont forget about the ZC trans. It will bolt up to a A6 Z6 and Y8. only thing is that on the z6 and y8 you will have to tap the back of the block for the int shaft bolts. Closer gears but final drive sucks...
