i know im gonna here a bunch of junk on this but i was wondering what a good motor swap would be to do w/a automatic transmission....i have a 94 civic coupe w/ a d15z1 right now & im wantin to do a swap, but i want a automatic!

 

I tried to find this out as well and got flamed. Guess automatics are taboo here.

 

not taboo, just you're very limited when it comes to modifying an automatic honda. the transmissions aren't made to handle much more power than what honda designed the motor to put out. you're not going to find much help on this topic because of this...and because automatics are 'teh slow'.

talk to these guys, I've seen their work on mustangs and on some imports (mazda and toyota). they do amazing things with automatics. I haven't personally seen their work on Hondas, but they do work on them.
