i blew the headgasket on my 91 crx this past sunday and later that night the head was back on with a new gasket. my problem is the car wont stay running...the main relay is making this buzzing noise, replaced it with another one and its doing the same thing. i have a fuel and spark...any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

so it starts but wont stay running? if so i had that problem i just fixed it today, it was the electical part of the ignition switch i got it at honda for 67 bux

 

right..as soon as it starts it sputters and dies..and that main relay wont stop buzzing..its also throwing a code 16 which i cant find here.

I would just google error codes for crx/civic. I remeber I did that once and found a few good sites that give a list of sorts of error codes and the problems associated but I dont remember what sites exactly. But Im sure you can find it.

 

Are you its main relay buzzing the only that buzz is the fuel pump.

im positive its the main relay..i started it today and it stayed running a lil longer but soon died..i just bought a new battery, cap, rotor, main relayand wires. code 16 is the fuel injectors..i heard they have two injectors under the throttle body.

 

bump..i guess ill take it to the honda dealer...
