I have Alpinestars GP Plus gloves. My favorite glove, very comfortable and they look to be very stout (hopefully I won't have to test them in a crash)

Also the MotoGP Nitrous Gloves are pretty good

motoGP nitrous gloves are on sale at sportbiketrackgear.com for 70 bucks. they look like a solid glove.

I have Dainese Short Track gloves. They are comfy as hell, great leather quality, and Titanium in the knuckles

(I apologize for the crappy cell phone pic)

I have some Joe Rocket short cuff gloves forgot the model off the top of my head... they are nice leather ones. Gauntlets definitely provide more protection but I have a feeling I would be less inclined to wear them on super short trips like the 5 minute ride to class etc.... at least I wear the nice short cuffs whenever I touch my bike.

Check these out...

http://www.kneedraggers.com/de....html

I have the red and white ones. They're awesome. Decent price too. The offer decent protection...it even has a little pad for the side of your wrist...

You'll forget you're even wearing them...

I know they aren't going to protect as much as the gauntlet, but these seem rugged and they aren't bulky as hell.

Majority of the people I know and ride with use A* SPS. I have them as well but for the more "spirited" ride, I use my SP2's..

Alpinestars GP Plus or GP Pro... i have GP plus personally and it's the best glove for the price IMO.

I agree. They are very comfortable too. I have had a couple different brands of gloves and the A* gp plus gloves are holding up the best.

I agree, A* gloves tend to be pretty well made for under $200. I love my fingers.. so does my ladies, so I don't mind spending a couple of hundies on them.

Ultimate would be Helds I'm pretty sure.

Couple hundies on the ladies? Balla. I don't spend over fi.

FWIW, A* has been real good about replacing gloves that have seams coming apart.
