my friend has a 89 civic hb dx.. swapped motor to a 88 crx si motor.. he has the s.i harness and ecu a,resistor box and tranny.,..well its all in.. wont get spark or fuel..and guages go all wacky.. what went wrong.. its our 1rst experiment.. not to good ....even headlights go wacky..motor cranks when you hot wire it..but there is no spark or fuel i dont know if there is a wire to tap into or what..please e mail me on fast91hondacrxsi@aol.com or tridd24@aol.com any one with any ideas will be helpful thanks

no all the grounds are intact..i dont know if there is any rewiring invovled?

 

you will need the pm6 ecu. you may even have to change the inside harness to that of an si

 

ok im kinda new to this honda code stuff lol... pm6 whats that..? what ecu? car etc..he has a 90ecu and a s.i harness has 1 extra clip which we assume is for the p.sunroof which he dont have.. but you dont hear the fuel pump or nuttin turn on''/?

 

This should help. http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/4g...-zc-wiring.htm You need to run some other wires that the dx does not have. It's not hard just take it step by step. Plus you need to change the hose that goes from the fuel filter to the intake( Use the si one).
