Yes, full JDM front are about 1k to 2k.
If he's accepting $300, it could be the deal of a lifetime or he's trying to scam you.
Simple answer, ask him where he bought it from and ask him to give you any receipts for it. Then call the shop where he claims he bought it from and verify. Get an ETA for delivery.
If everything checks out; give the guy $100 deposit and tell him he'll get the rest when the clip arrives. When you give him a deposit, make a simple bill of sale with the terms of the agreement. Document everything. If he tries to scam you, you can take the paperwork to small claims and you'll easily win.
I know it seems overkill for only $300 bucks, but it's simple tasks like these that will cover your *** if he tries to pull some **** on you.

the parts might not be authenic JDM parts, meaning they are fiberglass replicas. Authenic OEM Metal parts for the ITR conversion do run up in the thousands range. but then again he may not know the value of his parts. who knows.. just check it out =0)
ok so i just talked to the guy over the phone. Its not true JDM parts, but its metal hood and fenders, and a polyurathane front bumper, also comes with grill, and headlights he said he has to check to see if they were HID or not...
what u guys think is this a true steal for 300$ and i get to pick it up?

if all the parts are there ie radiator support, headlights, fenders, grill, hood, and whatever else, do it.... non- hid headlights alone are 3 to 6 bills dependng on condition...
I work at a body shop and that would cost u about $1300 for installation and paint. This is to weld the new radiator support, replace the hood, bumper cover, fenders, and headlights. I don't think i missed anything, but yea not too cheap.
