MY CAR IS TRYING TO KILL ME... >PICS< TO COME DIAGNOSE MY SUSPENSION PROBLEM OR HELP WITH H
I have a high mileage 95 acura integra ls coupe. <<<deep breath>>>> 190,000 plus miles
it has been maintained like **** by me and its previous owner
i purchased the car w/ 112,000 miles and eibach sportline springs were installed at aprox 140,000
after a set of tires was quickly consumed a front camber kit was installed and proper alignment was ATTEMPTED
( tire wear has seemingly been normal but shops have told me that the stock alignment spec. is "unattainable" )
40,xxx later, the ride has become increasingly more harsh and is now to the point of unsafe
presently it seems unstable at speeds with loose body roll and allmost a wandering feeling with sloppy suspension response. combined with terrible ride quality over bumps
i know the oem shocks are probably no longer effective however i see no visible signs of leakage and the car doesn't seem to bounce substantially.
i have seen large cracks in the rear trailing arm bushings that makes them largely suspect. however i dont know the conditions of the other bushings and component "taughtness"
my thoughts
1. blown shocks
2. BADLY worn bushings
3. random steering rack component problem
4. alignment
i think a set of koni sports are in order as well as new rear trailing arm bushings and a check for loose suspension components.
i will add pictures later for reference
any insight would be of much help

1. blown shocks yes
2. BADLY worn bushings yes
3. random steering rack component problem maybe
4. alignment yes
So get them fixed. There's no point guessing which one is causing you the biggest problems, since they all will cause those handling issues and all need to be addressed.
btw 190k miles is not really a big deal on Hondas. On a poorly maintained car (any car) it can be bad though.
replace in this order btw:
Steering rack if necessary
Bushings (Trailing arm bushing for sure)
Shocks and springs
Alignment

i agree with noob4life.
btw, what camber kits? most are crappy, possibly loosened themselves. you didnt need em anyway. after you got the springs installed, you should have went straight to get the toe aligned. thats all you needed to do.
shocks are definately toast if they are original. 190 miles on stock shocks with lowered springs? yeah... gone. i recommend illuminas for a great upgrade.
does a lot of that roughness translate into the steering wheel? if so, you need to check out your balljoints and rack for sure.

the camber kit it as ingalls
and i guess the roughness translates to the steering wheel
im looking for info regarding what else could be the cause other than what i have listed
are there other places that could be the cause of such instability

well make sure the ingalls bolts didnt slip.
i added balljoints and steering rack.
what else is there? you listed practically every part of your car.
so what are you doing to diagnose the problem?
