Default Need some Help/Info

My 04 Type S is shooting a <U>P303</U> which is the Misfire on 3rd cylinder. I mis-shifted on 3rd going to 4th on the freeway. Took to my local import shop and we interchanged the coil paks and spark plugs from other cylinders to 3rd cylinder and still showed P 303 code. We unpluged the injectors one by one and cylinder 1, 2, and 4 each bogged down the motor after we unpluged them but cylinder 3 did really change much. I havnt done a compression test on cylinder 3 yet to see if i bent any valves, but the Car still runs fine, responds the same, just idle a lil rough when sitting still. just wanted to know if anyone can give me some insight on this situation. Searched on the Net about CEL code <U>P303</U> but Just needed some Opinions from other DC5 owners. Thanks.

actually i just joined honda-tech from this post but anyway.
i had the same thing and i was going from 3rd to 4th on the highway and it didnt go into gear all the way and got stuck and i went to step on it and it shot out and i over reved and bent i think it was intake valves and ruined the cam shaft although i started it up after and drove up the high way and it seemed fine but sounded wayyy different but when we took the block apart thats what happened. it seems a little similar.
maybe that helped you out

you'll find out if you bent a valve once you do that compression test but the sounds of it, that's what it sounds like.. not going to say i'm 100% sure but from the sounds of it, it does.
