Default GSR TRANNY KILLING GAS?

I got a B18B mated to a GSR tranny. Would I see a difference in eating gas if I were to use a LS tranny instead? Or would there not be much of a difference to tell.

all depends on your driving. if you run it to the ground then your going to get por MPG. i have a b16/tranny, i fill up to a full tank once a week. and i do about 40-70 miles a day.

Correction, an LS 5th gear set would be better for highway driving.
I think the other LS gears (3 and 4) are too long and sluggy for DD-ing...

once again, it's not that noticable of a difference and all depends on how you drive.

Yea your right. Gas prices are a bitch these days. Was wondering if it would be good to swap to a LS tranny.

It's not going to make much of a difference. It's mostly about throttle not rpm. Stay with the gsr tranny.
