While driving down the road the battery light, door ajar lights come on and volts checked with a voltmeter drop to around 12 volts. With A/C on, this problem does not exist, volts checked with voltmeter show 13-14 volts. Alternator has been completely rebuilt from top to bottom a few times. Intermitent problem. Could this be a ground issue?

joo needz a new alternator. If you install if yourself using a hond apart is is about $300

the reason they fail alot has to do with the fact that they are made by DELPHI which is a GM owned and operated company.......
