Default one side of my rear is lower than the other

so i recently (3-4 weeks) got S-techs installed and last week I drove around 2, 5 gallon water bottles in the back passenger seat to stimulate as if I drove people around to help the springs settle. I'm noticing that one side now is still the 2 finger gap like before and the other side barely fits my two fingers.
The bottles were placed balanced on both sides and aside from the creeking of my suspension while driving slowly, everything appears to be fine.
Can i add more weight to the other side so it'll settle too? can one side settle and not the other? Or am i just parked at an uneven place?

its usually a uneven ground. i noticed that with my ground controls on my koni. I have it lowered the same amount according to the threads on them so I know they will be even.

try a parking structrue at a mall or something.

well the gap is not much of a difference. one side i can put my small asian fingers in all the way, but another side i just fits the tip a bit. so i'd say no more than half an inch but still noticeable enough for concern... riiiight??
I went to my schools parking structure today and i had to get out, it was waaaay to bouncing on my ride, not to mention my springs were squeeking all over the place. and i parked across the street in the park than park in there, its all slanted and big cars bully me and blind me with their lights.

When you put your springs on you didn't notice if you had a strut that was blowing did you? Or if you didn't make sure to seat the springs the exact same on both sides...

I notice this occaisionally with my car, it depends on what ground you're on.

Sometimes i cant even get a Rizla paper in one side but could get a finger in the other side. It's how you're parked that does it.

This is a weird topic, never heard of such a thing. lol But anyways I don't of anyone who can see two sides of your car at once anyways....and if they get out a tape measure....well slap them or somehting lol. jk

I don't know why it would do that, sounds just like something isn't seated right on the higher side of the car, like the spring is just slightly sitting on something.

I have this problem... it's not much but I believe mine is due to my drivers front strut is partially blown. It's not completely shot but its getting there. I think I can make it last till next summer when I have the money to upgrade them all.

Not doing things right the first time FTL.
Also not having the money to do it FTL.(I know I know just save up... easier said then done when you have to fix it for one aspect and already have the car torn apart)

must be an optical finger allusion... as u r right, maybe it just depends on where i park that is the difference.... didnt notice it before...
im too busy always finger banging my car. but i checked today at different locations and it seems to be okay.

I'm not sure about the seating of the spring, i had a shop do it for me. obviously they didnt do something right as I hear the creeking noises whenever i drive slow or go over bumps.

if you want adjustability, get coilover sleeves or coilovers. stop wasting money on springs then not being pleased with them. Koni/GC ftmfw

I have neuspeed sport springs and blues. At first it was uneven in the back. One side was 1 finger gap....and the other was no gap.....then after a week it switched sides........then they both went alittle low........and now they are back up and both have a 1 finger gap. They have not changed sense. I just think that (like every one said) it depends on how level the ground is.......if you pull up the e-brake right as you stop.It could be alot of things, but I have heard of alot of people that say they hear creeking noises, and that is normal....but if it is really loud and all the time, I would have it checked out.

ive got no noises

most of the time that just means it wasnt installed properly when you have creaking sounds. For some reason, when my rear was SLAMMED, it creaked. i raised it to where its a slighty tucked and it doesnt make any sound at all now

I've got some noise in my passenger rear, but it's not creaking. It's the knocking sound when I hit bumps. I've tried readjusting it... but for the life of me I cant figure out why it's doing it. I almost think its not the strut assembly, I know it's installed right (I did the other three just fine).

well the thing about the noise is that i went to two shops and a friend i met here, and they all said its certainly not normal, but not a reason for any major concerns. But now its just getting to the point where its annoying and I'm ready to pay someone to take a look. But sucks if they look and replace this and that and then the noise is still there......

if lowered on springs, the left side of the car will be about a 1/4" lower than the right side. this is because the left side of the car is heavier than the right side.

honda actually has a tsb explaining that this is normal

the left side is the side that has the steering wheel.

It would be wiser to use the terms "Driver's Side" and "Passenger's Side", and use the proper origin of the vehicle as well, considering we do have people on here with Right Hand Drive cars.
