Trying to help a friend out how can i pull the codes in his prelude....I know lots bout civic and not alot about preludes is it the same concept? where can i find the jumper wire?

 

are you just talking about engine codes? (sorry, maybe that's what CELs are)

if so you need to look under the cupholder or it may be under the center console itself and you are going to need an obdII reader since 96 ludes are obdII.

 

you can pull them just like an obd1 car also. There is a 2 pin jumper behind the radio, on the driver side. the clip is blue.

 

u guys got 96 ludes w/h23's i just put up a post about h23 obdI vs h23 obd II check it out and see if you know anything for me, please.
