It depends on where you obtained it. The JDM Mugen systems require the JDM catalytic converter, which is slightly larger at the outlet compared to USDM. If the system was imported and modified by King Motorsports, it should bolt up directly. It will be obvious if a new flange was installed in front of the resonator.

What do you mean? It is quiet, just how I like it.

The three bolt holes for the catalytic converter are on a larger bolt circle than your USDM catalytic converter. You could grind them slightly towards the inside to make it fit. This will also result in a slight step in the pipe diameter. Perhaps you could order a custom flanged catalytic converter.

The DC Integra twin loop exhaust was sold only as a cat-back. Some Civic models had axle back versions offered.

If you didn't get the mid-pipe, you will need one that matches the muffler inlet.
Like I said before, Mugen did not sell just the muffler for the DC2 Integra. However, shipping the midpipe from Japan is a royal hassle unless you have a cargo container.

Are you certain of this? I'm aware that "JDM-length" exhausts differ in overall length compared to their USDM counterparts (due to the shorter JDM cat), but this is the first time I'm reading about a different sized flange.

I am positive on this. I installed a Mugen twin loop from a JDM ITR on my '97 GSR. WHen I had a DC sports 4-2-1 and the stock catalytic converter, I had to modify the connection to the Mugen cat-back. Now that I have a JDM ITR catalytic converter, it is a direct fit. King Motorsports would reflange these exhaust systems to make them fit the USDM catalytic converters.
This all makes sense because the JDM ITR collectors are larger than the USDM as well.

axle back wont bolt on to ur stock LS, i had an axle back mugen on my car, and the flange is a 2.5 collector so bigger then stock. then got a stock ITR axle back, and had to get the flange re-done back to 2.5 collector
