Yeah......and 3 days till I get my Lamin-X blackout taillight covers in.

I think its pretty cool, thats pretty hardcore to attack and payoff expensive cars like this, good job.

Expensive cars? The most expensive civic is only lik 23000... not that expensive. And he has a DX...they are like what 14k?

You must be a multi millionaire to think thats not a lot of money,and to pay of 14k, 10k, 20k in a matter of a year or more is pretty hardcore. I bet you could pay for it right up front right? If you are basing expensive by a monthly car payment then you and I have different versions of expensive.

the only Honda made car cheaper than the civic is the fit. Civics have never been "expensive" cars.

but not for a car, especially a new car. Compare the civic to other new cars, it's not expensive

btw. I'm proud of the OP anyways. Paying off a car, or any loan/debt is a good feeling

my si isn't paid off, but it's also not expensive

yes i agree that to pay off a car is a great feeling.

Who knows how much he put down / financed and what his payment is...I mean if he put down 5000 and financed another 9000...over 60 months (avg loan terms) at say like 8.9%...payments would only be like 160-200 a month... Seeing as how hes 37 im sure he makes enough to pay 300-400 a month (if not more) Car is paid off in no time...

We dont know his situation but congrats on paying it off! I cant wait til i pay mine off.

And i still dont think the civic is an "expensive" car

The car I wanted instead of this one would have only ran me $5,000. Granted it wasn't new, but even 5k is expensive.

I guess I'm just a cheap ***, but hey it keeps me out of debt. This car is the only thing I have to worry about paying off. Once it is, it will be my beater probably until AFTER the next round of civics gets redesigned (~2014?)

i think expensive depends on how much you make....
for a student with limited budget and 1/2 time job...pretty sure almost is expensive...

Well I guess I can't complain. My parents are paying for my car while I dish out $3500 a semester to go to school.

Dang I dropped the entire cost of a DX as down for my Si. A whole lot of pocket change, cars are money pits. Now I'm sad.

 

i have enough cash to buy the SI outright but didn't

Figured i just buy the cheapest one and mod it up to what you want and at the same time you're not throwing so much cash away for a daily driver.

 

I have enough cash to buy something way nicer but went a different route. Here is my other daily.
