clutch pedal bracket
My clutch pedal bracket broke again. This is the second time it happen. The first time it broke on the right side of the pin and I had my dad weld it. Now the pin itself on the left side broke. Should I buy a new bracket or just weld it again hoping it won't break anymore? Is the pedal bracket pn 86694?

I have compared them side to side and it does not appear to be the same. I do know that the CRX Si clutch bracket is a little beefier and has an addition support. Might be something to look into.
Just weld it and consider it stress relived. What clutch are you using? I use a clutch master fx300 and have never had a problem. Some pressure plates are very harsh. Using a good compound on the clutch will make a huge difference and allow a softer pressure plate. I have 280hp again with no trouble.
I just replaced mines, it was a pain in the ***, took me 6 hours but I didn't have all the tools I needed so I had to improvise a lot. I'm 100% sure all of the ef's/crx's pedal brackets are interchangeable.

I took the seat out to have more room to lie under the dash. Going to drop the stearing column in a few. I've heard diff assemblys will work, I've heard they won't... who knows...
steering column is only 6 nuts/bolts. It works, I used a wagons assembly in my hatch. Your gonna have to remove the heating vents if you dont have wrench's. And a little hint when taking the assembly off, you need somebody go in the hood and pull the circle brake thing that connects to the pedal back so the assembly can come out because it blocks it a little.
