Default B16 head and B18C1 Block Help!

I am currently having trouble with my distributor "I think its failing on me" When I take off on first gear my RPM jumps back and forth as it goes up. But when im driving regular the RPM does not seem to be doing that. If I buy a new one where is the best place to get it? And what motor am I supose to get it for, the B16 head or the B18C1 block?

B16 and GSR distributors are the same animal. Just make sure to get an OBD1 distributor if you are running an OBD1 wiring harness, OBD2 dist. with OBD2 harness.
