wierd idle , PLEASE WATCH!
my idle is really irradic and it smells really bad around my driver side of the engine could this be because i blocked my FITV hose ?
it also feels like when i press the gas it has a few second delay

yea it happens when i turn it on sometimes it will stop for maybe like 1 min then i give it gas and it delays a few seconds and does it again someone please help us out!
it could be a leaking vacuum line....uhh you know what i mean.
a bad TPS or MAP sensor. or if you put a huge after market throttle body of if you were messing with the idle speed.........

What year is your integra? Most common bouncing idle is due to a vacuum leak. Otherwise if you have an OBD0 integra then you might have a FITV problem like stated.

hmmmmmmm i just swapped in a b20 about 4 days ago and bearly got it started yesterday after some issues , my FITV under the throttle body is not hooked up to the water pump hose on the back of the engine so i blocked it off until tomorrow when i T it off but it still should not be bouncing around like that regardless cuz it was fine yesteryay maybe a clogged IVAC? i got 260k miles on my body and 30k on my b20
In that case, i would say its a possibility that you have a vacuum source thats not hooked up. Start the car and use water or even brake cleaner and spray it around your vacuum sources till the idle changes from the extra fuel. If you have no vacuum leaks and are running a virgin ECU from a B20 for your setup you really shouldnt be having idle issues as long as you can be certain it ran fine prior to the swap.
im using the same ecu from my b18 , everything is from my old set up just engine change . im probably going to assume its because i have coolant going to my FITV but nothing coming out to the water pump hose in the back because i just straight blocked it off until i get it Td off tomorrow . it did this with my last engine so thats why i think it might be something in my tb but cant figuere why
my b20 is 97 , i was told before i even bought that engine that everything from my b18 could be used on the b20 , and i was told by HT!
but anywho yea a buddy of mine had a b20 as well and didint have two much trouble with it except for that fact that its missing a few things as far as senors and hose inputs on the engine

This can also be caused by a sticky IACV or an air pocket in the IACV. Since the FITV controls coolant flow to the IACV and you blocked the passage- an air pocket is quite possible. If you disconnect the iacv it will throw a code but you will get to see if it changes the idle characteristics.

use carb cleaner followed by brake cleaner to flush the piston ports out. This will help free a sticky piston and allow it to move smoothy as required for proper idle. Otherwise it will continue to "hunt" for the proper air metering.
i remember when i forgot to hook up IAVC andmy car wouldint even turn on so but ill check it out tomorrow if u want me to update you subscribe so u dont have to go searching tomorrow
well i just took it for a test run lol for like 3 hours , but uhhh my pedel kinda laggs it still and the idle is a bit better. it still goes up and down. i also found another leaking hose on my IAVC so i tightened it up. but uhh yea i got more issues then just that i guess. when im starting 1st gear or even when i slow down and drive kinda slow my car putts a lot and i think it back fires i can hear a loud series of pops in the engine then when i start going fast it goes away so im not sur whats going on there but i guess ill look at it tomorrow if anyone has any ideas post up
it was wierd cuz i was driving and i saw all this smoke coming from under my hood and i was like WTF! but my temp was good so i was like damn broken thermo . but it turns out all that anti freeze leaked out of it so yea.!

i had the same problem on my civic. it threw codes for the iacv i never got to clean it or replace it i ended up selling the car. i would start there.
my car is doing the same thing, its the IACV i already tried cleaning it, didnt work, hopefully one of your friends wil have a extra layin around somewhere, its 260 dollars at the dealer, cuz no one else has it.
You more than likely have a speedo cable which ul see going into the top of the tranny, otherswise newer models have a sensor which should be around the same spot.
