VIR turn 1
this is what happens when your rear tires have no grip!
lesson learned, dont put 30+ heat cycles back there

fortunatly I was able to soften the rear shocks to keep the back end more stable.

That should be the solution to almost any problem you have
Especially T1 at VIR

i would agree.. i've seen like 40 different lines through there.. lol..

I've never found T1 to be that difficult. Then again, if you run Summit main you get to see an almost identical turn so there's twice as much exposure but...
South Bend is a lot trickier to "get right" since if you're at the edge and don't make it, the dirt there is not all that forgiving. At least, it's significantly discomforting to go off there at 90mph with the car sliding. *cough*

so what is the average speed a average street car or person will take T1 at on VIR? I'm heading up there for the GT LIVE event for the time attack and lap battles and i've registered my car for them, but wanna know if it will be competitive? I drive a DA integra just has Tein basic coilovers, with Omni LCA's ST rear sway that's it.
I'm never looking down at my speedo there, so I couldn't tell you for sure. I know I'd be bouncing off the rev limiter if I was in 2nd, so it's faster than 65mph or so, but that doesn't help much.
Unfortunately, I doubt your car will be competitive if that's all you have done to it. Unless you wind up being the only FWD in the competition (entirely possible), then you'd win in class
Should we assume stock motor? How about tires? Brakes?

well I have stock rotors all around, but I have hawks up front, tires are Dunlop Dizzeras 205/50/15's b18b1 7lb flywheel ACT stage 2 street disc, SRI it runs strong though i've stayed side by side with a few GSR's and beat some b16's so it has some decent get up and go for being pretty much stock. I have a turbo kit laying in my garage, just need injectors and a ecu, looking to run about 7psi and make around 200-220whp nothing crazy just something to make the car a tad bit faster, so I wanna do something with the suspension. Should I ditch the Tein coilovers or what? They are fine for cruising and daily driving the car, but they are a little to soft when I really wanna tear up some corners, any suggestions on what setup I should go with i'm trying to stay with the one piece adjustable coilovers, so no gc/koni setup for me even though I know it's been proven as one of the best setups for DA's any experience with D2's or K-sports?
Don't do anything to the car before the event, or you'll be chasing down problems all weekend. That's my advice for now. I'm assuming you have little or no track experience?
Edit: I don't mean this in a bad way, but please put some ******* periods in there. That was the longest sentence I've ever read. Just makes it easier to understand your questions, seriously.

well i've been to VIR for a couple of track days with sport car clubs. I have also gone to the charity laps they hold every year around christmas. Pretty much anytime they have parade laps i'm usually there unless I have work that weekend. So I have ran VIR in my previous cars, they where all stock. This will be my first time running the integra there though. My bad about the run-ons!
Ah, ok. First, much appreciated about breaking that up. Second, I'd pass on the D2s and K-sports, I don't know that they'll be a whole lot better than what you have now. I'm not a DA guy, so I don't know what's available to you, but if you're set on the threaded-body shock design, maybe look into the Buddy Club Racing Spec Dampers. I used a set a few years ago and they weren't bad, definitely one of the better JDM ones, but I'm not sure how the new ones are (so do a little research
).

First, get more experience.
Then, get R compound tires.

Some type of adjustable shocks would help you keep a soft street ride and then tighten up on the track. I had a set of koni yellow's with skunk2 coilovers. Now I've switched to a full Tein Flex setup with an EDFC (bling). More hp isn't going to help you out when your sliding all over the track. Try out some different R compounds, then work on the hp. jmo.
