1995 2.2 4 cyl vtec for a 1998 v6 vtec
Does anyone know if you can swap the engine out of a 1995 accord lx for the 1998 v6 vtec? i have the 4 cyl but doesn't push out enough. Also does honda make a 6 speed manual trans that will bolt up to any of their engines?
no 6 speed trannies were made for the b-series, h-series or f-series (im not talking about the s2k motor) there all 5 speed. and yes u can swap the motor.

are you seriously smoking crack?
a j30 v6 motor from a 6th gen accord is NOT going to fit in a 4cyl 5th gen, and there were 6spd manual transmissions for the accord v6 motors in the 7th gen and even the newer CLs.
lastly, i have yet to see a stock 6spd B-series transmission, but who knows i dont care much for the civic/teg scene

actually it will...... the C27 wont but the J30a will (it is more compact than the F series (it is shorter and narrower (exhaust to intake width). takes a not of work but it can be done.
