Default Battery light

i have an 1992 handa accord and suddenly the battery light came on my way to sschool the other day i got half way there and power start to fade in and out so i got it towed home and dad says it the alternator cause when u unhook the positve and it cuts off..well jus yesterday i got the battery charged and i know my alternator may be bad but my car jus died again so it must be sumthin else besdes the alternator killing my battery that quick..Sorry so much i jus wanted to give u as much information as possibel to get the best answer...Thanks alot and hopw u guys have an solution

theres no doubt in my mind that it is your alternator...
when the alternator takes a dump while driving, the car will still run, but the juice needs to come from somewhere. thats when the battery comes into play, and drains itself to nothing, eventually killing the car.
replace that alternator, and charge the battery real good, and you'll be fine

Yeah theres no way around it, its the alternator... happened to me in my truck alot... dont know why it happened so much though lol
