remove the seat belt in DA'S
has anyone ever removed the driver/passenger side seat belts that run along the door jam. idk the proper nomenclature.(word) but i was looking for a write up on this cause i would like to delete this from my vehicle. i know they are supposed to hold you in but i don't need them cause i am putting some harnesses in so i would just like them gone. plus the passenger side is stuck. thus the harnesses.
I'd like to bump this as I've installed a harness and would like to know what I can do to "loop the system" so that it gets rid of the beeping and flashing telling me my seat-belt is unplugged.
^^As far as removing them. I think you have to remove the plastic panelling that surrounds them and then there should be a series of bolts holding the system in.
Not sure though. I haven't gotten around to removing the system yet. I need to figure out how I can stop all the noise while I'm driving. lol

Ok, so I got rid of the beeping and blinking by unplugging the unit by the passenger kick-panel under the carpet. It's the one on the side, not flat where your feet go. You have to remove a small portion of the plastic paneling to get to culprit. There's a plug you remove and the system shuts down pretty much. OR you can 'tap' the connection from under your seat with a paper clip. Just connect the paper clip from one wire to another untill you've found the combination what works.
