What offset of rims should be used on a CRX?

What offset of rims should be used on a CRX?
help! i have some rota circuit 8's and in front they are sticking out like an inch, but there is not motor yet and i am hoping that with the extra weight they might tuck back in! right now they look like drag rims sticking out all crazy!

CRX SiR has offset 50
I have 7,0x16 offset 45 with 215/40R16 and it still rubs sometimes with 2" drop
