Frustrating, Alarmingly Strong, Shake Under Acceleration.
Ok, so first off I make my living as a mechanic, and have for over 6 years. Not to say I'm the best, but I am a "professional", to some degree. My car is on her 4 motor in 6 years, 4 1/2 of those years I have owned it. The latest motor is a LS/Gsr Hybrid project, but for the past 4 months I've struggled just to get it to driveable status as an LS. Currently I am down to the final nightmare that has plagued this project since I started working on it again 5 months ago. Under a load, mostly 3,4, & 5th gear at low-mid rpm cruising, the whole car shakes violently enough that my I can see my headlight path like a strobe. Embarrasing to say the least. Here's what I've tried so far; new axles, motor mounts (all 5 factory honda), wheels tires, only thing i can think of is maybe the clutch and/or flywhl is f*d from sitting for 2 yrs, or not torqueing it right. Like I said im not some ricer, or noob. Please dont reply unless you have something intelligent to say. I love the fact that we are a community and I have someone that can relate to problems we encounter. I think this is what Honda-Tech was founded upon - The fundamentals of a true enthusiast. Thanks everyone!

parts to figure it out. good luck
parts to figure it out. good luck
I would say that you have an issue with your axles, I know that you say that they are new, but new does not always mean that they are good. Find a buddy that is willing to swap axles with you, one side at a time, and see if that will narrow it down.
