Should I sell my body kit for more performance parts?
Ok, here is the deal. I have a bran new Xenon body kit in the box. But this past weekend I was saying to myself, “Self, so do you really want to put this body kit on, get it painted, mount it on the freaking car, or buy some more performance parts?” Well, I’m not sure what I want to do. I have a short ram Intake, muffler, strut bars, coilovers with great springs, and 18’s wrap in 215-35 tires. What other performance parts should I get? I’m a think more engine upgrade. I’m looking at getting Ceramic Header, Hi Flow Catalytic Converter / Catback system, new Cam Sprocket, Hi Performance 10.3mm Spark Plug Wires, Crank Pulley, Fuel Pressure Regulator. Out of These upgrades, which one would make a big difference? Or tell me what kind of upgrades you think are worth a crap. I can only up grade if I sell my body kit, so if you know anybody that might want it, drop me a line. Please help a lost soul… Thanks…

This kit retails for $780.00…

Ok. I know everyone is going to tell me to sell the body kit, But what the main point is, Is I want to know what are some good upgrades I should be looking at getting? I’ll have about $400.00 to spend. Give or take 50…
Depends on the car, if it's got VTEC, I'd suggest an apex'i afc to put your vtec crossover lower and fix your air/fuel ratios. $300 new.
A full exhaust might be good, as well as a header. Both $400-$300.

Oh, and don't waste your money on a high-flow cat from Focuz... it's just a resonator. Found out the hard way.
It not a VTEC! Bummer... and another bummer is I'm running in Colorado. The town I live in is 7700 feet above sea level.... Now what to you think... Anybody else have anything to add? Come on people!!!
I say sell the kit, and sell those heavy 18" rims, they're just slowing you down. Invest in some good 15" or 16" light wheels, like some volks.
Thats what I would do.

yeah, sell the 18's and the body kit, buy some 96 vtec prelude wheels (16 pounds baby) or rotas, buy an h22 (slowly gather up the $ and parts) an NX kit, or custom turbo kit
What is up with all of you... “Buy an h22, No, LOL but h23… hahaha” Why doesn’t anybody have anything to say about what kind of performance parts to get that go a long with my questions? I have a limited amount of money… An engine up-grade isn’t anything I can afford right now. Just how much would a engine up=grade go for? $2500 to $4000?? Well, if anybody could add his or her 2 cents, that would be great… Thanks…
you're pretty fucked... your car is slower than stock. Add the elevation and you're in geo metro territory. Lose some weight!
Sell the Kit, sell the 18's and ruberband tires, sell the hot air sucking power robbing short ram, and if your muffler is one of those chrome 6 inch tip stunna mufflers sell it too. Save a few extra dollars over the next few months and drop in a decent motor, build a nice custom turbo setup, or do both.
If you are building a car for the street forget bolt-ons go with the most bang for the buck. Hint Bolt-ons are not it.
If you are going to race your car and must conform to some sanctioning body rules then do as much as the rules allow in your class. A good CAI, header, full exhaust, and then spend some money on dyno tunning.
