this is kinda scaring me. i dont know if this is supposed to be there or what? someone please tell me something goes here and i dont just have a hole in my block.

what they said, but it SHOULD have a little rubber plug in it. wouldnt want crap flying in there lol

Death occured in that hole on my lude, a little mouse who ran in there a tried to make his home.My friend decided to start the car... and poof out comes the fur But any way yes that is to check your timing,just replace the cover so nothing like my incident occurs lol

lol its to make sure its at TDC but there should be a little rubber thing that plugs that whole so you dont have rats trying to nest in there...lamo

Yep, and that spout on the top left of the picture is supposed to have a hose on it..

Oh and that Front Mount looks pretty bad.. Looks like it's cracking...

Yea, I'm sure you can get one from a dealer.. More people are probably missing them than actually have them, so I doubt you'll find them used.. And if you did they're probably old and corroded anyways..

Yes, you can buy the plug at the dealer. That hole is used to check base timing using a timing light.
