how many miles do your cars have?

im looking to modify my teg 92 rs accordingly, but with 204xxx (kilometers - canada) is it a bit late if i wud want to sell it in a few years? too many kms?

 

My 95 has 117,xxx on motor and chassis...


If you plan on keeping it, theres nothing a nice rebuild couldn't fix...

 

sry im new to this so imma ask a silly question then, whats a "rebuild" and whats the price tag. i do have friends who are willing to help out but id like to build some knowledge on my own

 

lol my gsr has 169,000 body and engine.. my vtec still hits but i think i need a new gsr in order too get the power i want... as for u im not so good wit kilometers lol but i would say if u want the same engine just sell the one u got and get another one =]

 

Gaskets, pistons, rings, valve seals, springs, retainers, bearings, water pump, oil pump, if you want too, cams, it goes on...

 

well im kinda stumped, either stick with my db1 for a year or two, and sell it then move on to a 94-01 teg since thats the car i REALLY wanted in the first place.

 

Well, if thats what you want, sell your DA and get you a DC, I personally love these more, if you want I can help look around for you...

 

in my opinion i say just get a new engine lol cuz if u rebuild and not know how much ur spending u might spend as much as a new engine =]

all still pull hard just depends on how you drive them

yet another guy i know had around 154,000 on his and he just blew it up....dumbass

 

thanks i appreciate it but atm i dont think ill b looking around. i love my teg and its bone stock. and im a student working part time so money doesnt come in alot :D sooo... a dc is in my future plans i just dont know if i shud invest any money in my db1

i got 198,723....but i think my timing belts just broke.....coming home at 9:45 @ about 45mph...my teg just turns off...steering wheel doesnt lock or anything motor just dies...pulled over....smoke was coming from the valve cover by the cam gears...i have to really check was wrong in the morning...sigh

 

1995 GSR.. 134K on engine and chassis.... Still as fast as day 1..

my da has 280XXX miles on it, only 80XXX on the motor

edit: 132k miles, my dad got the car in '92 with a salvage title and about 40k on it. No clue if the engine is original, but it wouldn't surprise me either way.

 

94 just hit 109k

 

120k GSR shell, 1xxK on B18A running strong, 20-30k on B18C5 rebuilding for boost( i blew the head on it)

 

2000 Ls 80,XXX on Motor and Body...runs great

I've got 148K on my 97 Integra.. Both chassis and motor..

VSS just died on me though..
