progress finally made, motor in. pictures

I happened to have a d15b7 turbo'd running pretty good keeping up with all the guys in town, i made a few comments to an Fbody crew that goes to my college and i guess i should of let the F*ck's be. i came out of school to my hood pins off and wasnt sure really what happened. long story short they cut part of my injector wire so it had some continuity. driving it home got it up to about 6K started to sound bad looked at my oil pressure and it blew instantly. its been sitting for a month and finally got a motor in it. i was told the motor i bought was completely rebuilt so ill run it NA for a few weeks just to get some money to get it tuned. pictures just show the fitment of it.

what she'll be back to soon.

so do you mean that the injector just fired continiously, man that sucks. Dont mess with those F-bodies
Well good luck with the rebuild and are you sure it was those guys because if i was sure and somebody had done that to my car there would be revenge in the works but that is just me. Good Luck man

Man, you don't touch another mans car, it doesn't matter what they drive.
Good luck rebuilding, and they deserve whatevers coming to them for screwin with your car.

I would be pissed!!! I don't think i could ever take revenge though. (i'd pay some one to) I am a wus, can't risk getting arrested. Just be careful if you do though!

Generic grease should work fine...personally, last time I swapped out an axle, I just used a dab of red bearing grease to get things moving easier

I hope you're not planning to use those as the only way to secure your hood to the car. Someone I know up in NorCal had his ef9 hood fly up with those pins and totally f*ck up his roof/hood/maybe fender (can't remember).

Deff. get locking hood pins. I'm guessing you don't have the t-bar with the hood latch anymore because of clearance issues?

the front of the car is all 1.25'' steel bar. it has a lot of clearance actually just a latch really isnt able to be installed unless i welded in an adapter plate and screwed a latch on. and the pins arent too bad i have pretty thick pin that goes in but still gotta do something about it.

another picture to show clearance with radiator and manifold.

started out with this mess of wires.

to end up looking decent.

cleaned up the tranny a little bit using degreaser and a toothbrush.
had a couple questions on how many wires should be running to the starter, have the one from the battery and the relay but not sure if i need a third.

also and i had a rubber hose that was cut and wondering where it goes? and also the loop of hose loops back into the manifold does it need to be routed somewhere else? and last the line coming out of the manifold is it a coolant line?

The big cut hose goes to the heater core. the little one is coolant recirculating for either the fit valve or the Idle air controll valve . i have all those capped off on mine. But i dont drive it in the cold.
