best cams for stock B18c1? also what headers?
what are the best cams for a stock b18c1?
I'll be using a Skunk2 ProSeries Intake Manifold and Skunk2 ProSeries 65mm Throttle body along with an AEM CAI and a DC 4-2-1 Header w/ 2inch collector.

heard bad things about these cams from Endyne.
Apparently the valve seat needs to be machined down just a little or the valves start overlapping and hitting eachother causing valves to break and drop.

That doesn't sound right...lots of people use those cams without trouble. They're not that big of a cam either like a Skunk pro 2 cam is so V to V clearance isn't a factor. Cam gear tuning can always reduce chances of valves hitting each other.

Not true. And Skunk Stage 2's are better than the BC3's. About 12 HP and 8 ft-lbs. better on a B16 with bolt ons.

Thats funny, considering his "bumpstix" are designed after the Jun3 vtec lobe, same as the S2S2's. Before doing large cams, I would do type r cams and get some engine management and have it tuned.

ya thats what i thought too.. i never heard anyone having that problem.. but just wanted to see..
im thinking some BC3 cams, supertech Dual VS, some cam gears, and a good tune..

you'll be happy with the bc3 on a daily driver, s2 will also be good with a tune, might wanna look into an Intake manifold upgrade as well as a good header.

They will work better in this motor with more compression (11:1) but will work with the stock compression.

i have the bc3's in my gsr now with a pretty decent street tune...on stock valvetrain...if your getting valve springs i would personally go with the s2s2's

get something that has a 2.5" collector. 2 inch collectors are pointless and restricet too much flow for any kind of modifed setup.

my brother went from a stock B18C w/ CTR cams to skunk manifold w/ skunk stage 2's and didnt like it. It went well, but you just had to rev the crap out of it whereas the stock setup was better for city driving. Had poor poor low end and crazy top end. Just personal preference i guess.
