Hondata ROM Programs into a stock ECU
Hi all,
i was wondering,
if i was able to obtain an EPROM, programmed with a (suitable) Hondata ROM, plug it into the stock ECU, without any of the hondata stages, would this still run the car? or is the Hondata unit required?
I ask as this is a very hazy area. What's to stop anyone with a stage4 programming ROMS and selling them off to people without the Hondata Unit?
any comments appreciated

You will need to purchase a Hondata system in order for a program developed with the Hondata ROM Editor to work properly.
