Default CF DASH KIT

Ok, so i got honda accord 05 sedan and i want to put a carbon dash kit in it, i saw the ones on ebay for about $220 they glue on. But i don't know if it's going to look good, anyone tried them? Or i was wondering if i can take mine out and just paint them at some body shop in carbon fiber, will it work?

how are you going to "paint" them carbon fiber? If you buy the kit, i recommend you get someone's help with the stickers... you might not be able to figure them out.

Ya, theres no way to paint something to look like carbon (and look real). I would not suggest the kit if you are in a very warm area. My friend had a kit for his 94 accord and it just fell off after about a year, but he lives in the carribean.

Yeah it was a bad idea.... i just read somewhere that there's a paint like CF, i guess it was a bs.
I was looking into those kits that stick on, but my concerns are:
will it be noticeable that it is not from the factory?like will they be sticking out or will they look just like factory ones?
Also loudandlow why will i need some help, is it hard to stick them on or something?

Well on my buddies accord you really couldn't tell. It does slightly stick out but it still looks like factory trim height.
