How to enter radio code for Element radio
Is there any special way to enter the radio code on an 03 Element EX Cd player?
When I turn the unit on, its says code and I am punching the code in using the presets but nothing is changing on the screen and after I am done it still says CODE...
Am I doing something wrong?

if you are typing in the correct code it should go right the radio screen am/fm so you can program it...verify the code with local dealer

What he says. Also remove the radio fuse in the under dash fuse box after removing the battery to reset the code. Try again and let us know.

Yes, Ive removed the fuse and unplugged the harness to reset.
I think I figured out the problem. I am trying to put the Element EX deck into my Accord and was told it was plug and play. I think I got bad information, because I found out that the Element EX players don't have an internal amp.
Now am I wondering if because I am plugging in an Accord harness it is not compatible with the Accord.
It does get power and says code but I can type in the code (have the official Honda code card and the serial matches the radio) until doomsday and nothing changes on the screen... does not show me entering numbers and just keeps on saying code.
I wonder if this is because of the Accord harness or lack of the external amp?
