I cant find anything in the search, but maybe Im using the wrong key words....

Anyways, I have an extra from a base 5th gen and I want to know if I can use it with my 4th gen. I know it will bolt up, but how do I connect the vss? Can I use the vss of a 4th gen or do I need to use a 5th gen vss?

as long as they are both h series trannies it will work. just use the vss on the car

 

The base tranny's will work just fine with a 4th gen, its just the SH that has the ATTS and won't play nice with any other motors.
