well here's the specs should be 17x8 +35 17x9 +38... they rub

meaning your 17x8 should be fine depending on the size tires you go with.
some 17x8+35 for the front and rear will fit just fine with some 215/45s.

Some people seriously think that is an okay way to do it (seen it on an Audi forum and an STi forum). So I did it. I ended up having to get my quarter panel lips repainted and had to rent a fender roller anyways. Yup, with a wooden bar and used a heat gun. It's really hard to bend the spot welds up with a bat.
