Default Eyebrow / Eyelid - 96 Civic

Hello,

I recently changed the head lamp bulbs over to the 4000k and WOW what a difference on high setting in the country roads.

My concern now is when I'm on the major highway(s) that have the concrete dividers i don't want to blind the oncoming traffic. I have found several 'eyebrows' on flEaBAY but I'm a bit lost if they will fit my car or not.

I have the stock headlights nothing fancy, 96 Civic LX. No customization.

Thank you for your help in advance.

"Eyebrows" will do nothing to prevent you from blinding oncoming drivers.

If your setup is generating that much stray light and glare, it is either very poor, or not aimed properly (or both). When you say you changed the bulbs to "4000K", what exactly do you mean? Is this a drop-in HID kit, or some "hyper-white" replacement halogen bulbs?

Your links don't work, but I assume that you installed Sylvania SilverStars? If that's the case, there's no reason or need to worry about installing some sort of glare preventer. Just make sure the headlights are aimed properly, and next time, purchase some Philips X-treme Power bulbs instead. If you find the SilverStars impressive, you'll really appreciate the X-tremes.

Yeah, I'm a ****. I didn't realize this car had two three headlight settings.

Off
1 click = city lights
2 click = high beems

The city lights seem to be low cut and don't glair up.

Thank you for your help, aiming makes sense and fixed my issue.

Will do, but it may have to wait for the snow to go. As of right now the banks are as tall as me so it would just be a big bright white nothing in the picture lol.

eye lids do nothing for glare. upward facing light comes from the bottom part of the reflector, not the top. if anything, you would want to cover the bottom of the reflector
