I don't want another premature camshaft failure, so I've done my oil research. Narrowed it down to the highest rated oils with high levels of ZDP/ZDDP. Who uses what and why?

No more junk. I'm done with Valvoline/Mobil1/Castrol forever. That's why the poll is locked to those choices.

I'm wondering who prefers what from the above list.

 

I run Brad Penn Racing oil.

No kidding. A lot of people seem to swear by that oil. I just checked out a few of their independent lab VOA charts and it's a bit of a let down. Seems like the actual additive PPMs never match what's advertised.

 

I use AMSOIL myself, but I have recently seen advertisements for ENEOS oil. Apparently, Honda uses this oil in their F1 cars?

I have done no research on it, it might be worth looking into.
