Default Another one down!!! F*ck thieves!!!!

about nine months back i posted that my JDM gsr was stolen, and being the hard headed person i am, i picked up an R and thought i could keep this one safe.

Between 8pm monday and 11am tuesday, my car was stolen at my resident. I live in Laurel, MD. It was PY # 00-598. As far as security, i had a club around the brake pedal and the steering wheel, viper 2-way alarm, lojack early warning.

Today, (three days later) the Howard County Police Department called me and told me that the car was recovered by the Prince George's County. I went down there and then went to the wreck yard where the R was held at. When i got there, i almost busted into tears at the way my car looked. Engine and Tranny were gone, interior empty except for the dash, fenders/hood missing. Sitting on a 4lug suspension with some spare tires... so much for Expo 8.

It actually was parked in a parking spot with the usual turn wheel one way and lock. I did all i could to keep it safe besides the most important thing..a garage.
i don't think i would buy it back. It would kill me even more if i rebuild it and another jerk steals it from me again.

I loved this car. hopefully when i move somewhere else, i will start looking for a clean 97.

Nope. And when i called them, they said the car had not been taken too far away from my area, that is why i did not get a call. Lojack is BS, if i get another device, it will be a gps system to where i can trace the location myself.

Seriously. There aren't many clean 97s left. We really don't need them being offered on silver platters to POS thieves. Nothing personal, just reality. Your GSR "converted" to ITR was stolen, as was a clean real ITR now. Chevy Cobalts really aren't a bad car....

Actually, this is my third integra. Had a 95 DB8, i don't think people knew it was a gsr.. never got messed with. Then a 00 gsr.. the one i mentioned that got stolen, it was taken exactly where my car is now on pic 2(above). It got stolen right outside my house within a couple of months of my ownership. The way it happened, was strange.. at the spot where i had parked it, there were no broken glass, no tire marks, no evidence at all.. made me think the previous owner that traded it in had an extra key and remote(I never installed a new alarm myself)came back to collect. Luckly, all the goodies that are on the car in the below pic, were already on it when i bought it .. i know, i know i bought someones else' work, but it was a good price again with my employee discount.
I guess with the R, i'm alert and paranoid nowadays. I don't have a garage now, but might be moving soon. Thanks for all the comments.

Here is my ITR converted gsr:

</TD></TR></TABLE>

You told the probable thieves exactly where your new minty fresh PYR is/was...

Use your insurance money to get something along the likes of a Hyundai or a Kia...

Again, sorry for the loss.

&lt;--- Garage, GPS tracking, '01 Nissan Pathfinder/'97 Honda Prelude (Selling soon) parked in front of garage.

It'll take a smart theif to get my ****. Hell, they even know what I have guarding it, and I'll bet no one around here can swipe it.

PG County FTL

sucks bro, good luck with insurance. thats obviously not a safe place to park an R especially since your GSR was stolen from the exact same spot.

^ A friend of mine did that up in Charlotte when he was being followed one day by some sketch *****. He parked the car at his girlfriend's house (In a safer area), chained it to the porch, came out the next morning, and it was gone.
