do a search on itr valvespring bind. someone did a test and the itr valvesprings binded at 12mm lift. the pro 1s already has 12.6mm lift....so..your SOL... todas skunk2 blox and buddy club all make camshafts for stock valvetrain

why do these threads pop up 4-5 times a week? If you spend some time and search, you can find some great information on here. Everything from write-up's to dyno sheets. Try searching next time before you make a thread

youll deffinatly notice a good gain over the 97's with a good tune and and youll be safe with the stock dual springs, but like the proffessor said its hard to get alot of replys on posts like this cause nobody searches

Thats strange, because I've never seen a CTR intake cam make a noticable different on a dyno versus a pre '00 ITR intake cam. You realize it is only 3 degrees of duration?

TODA A's are the best cam if you want to keep stock valvetrain. But for the cost of valvetrain (<$300), the cost-benefit is worth it to gain the ability to run larger cams.

yea, sorry,i have been on here for at least 3 weeks, and i spend hours at night reading threads ,and yes theres alot of usefull information,.But i like to ask questions,,i dont see whats wrong with that,,if your tired of the same threads, dont even bother typing a response saying so.Thats even more pointless. You think i havent been reading up?.Sometimes its nice to actually ask a current question and recieve answers from this day/month/week/year,as opposed to readin some threads that are months old

Toda A's, Skunk 2 stage 1's (NOT PRO SERIES), and Buddy Club 3's (BC 3) would be the most common cam choices for you with stock valvetrain. They will all make more power than your current cams but you'd be much better off buying some good valvetrain and going with some cams that will really make power such as the Skunk 2 Pro 1's (older stage 2's were also good, just older technology so they won't make as much power as the pro 1's). Rocket motorsports (RM) M22x cams which I use and really like, extremely easy to tune and great power, or Buddy Club 4 (BC IV), Toda B's, Jun 3's. You'll also need some type of tuning to take full advantage of any cam that's larger than stock as well as some adjustable cam gears.

If you dont plan on upgrading out your valvesprings, then Skunk2 Stage 1's will work well for you...

I had raced my old motor for 3 years (8800 Redline) on these cams with just ITR valvetrain...

The gains were pretty decent, making close to 9 whp over '00 ITR cams...
