Default 1990 CRX d16z6 wont START!

Ok so my car works sometimes tehn doesn't work. I'm posting a video of how the car sounds when it attempts to start. I've pin pointed it to the "0 IAT Sensor (Intake Air Temperature) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor" but i don't think hat would make a difference to the ignition. i found a cut wire but i'm wondering if theres anyway to fix this problem.

Here's a video of the engine bay, the IAT Unplugged (wire was cut), (yes i know there isn't a Timing belt cover).

And a video link to my youtube account.

I don't understand how it wouldn't start though. Hopefully the videos will help out.

I know its not the spark plugs, not the oil Razz nor the gas, Engine code is 10 from what i read. We'll see if any techs can help me out.

Thanks a whole bunch Community and help me get my beast back on the road. Rexy don't like being parked and i don't like having no vehicle.!!!!

first the cut plug looks to be going to the vtec silanoid (but i could be mistaken because im not really a vtec guy im more non vtec

but when watching the vid of your ecu blinking it was consistant with the other ones and i counted 12 blinks before you moved the camera

so im wondering where you got 10 from

but i would check the compression and spark and see if you are getting fuel to the rail and then if you get all this taken care of then go on to checking the injectors and the main relay

could be a lot of things but id start with compression, spark and fuel

*** i feel your pain on this one too cause im kinda going threw the same things right now

Check for 4 things:

Fuel, Spark, Timing, and Compression. If you have all four of those, the motor will be able to start.

that looks like a code 1 to me to be honest. they are pretty short blinks.

that first plug you show under the hood is the vtec solonoid. the other one, thats a nub sticking out of the head i think is the coolant temp sensor.

you just walk out one day and the car wouldnt start? or is this a swap or something?
