AP2 Bumper onto AP1

AP2 Rear Bumper onto AP1
I'm trading my AP1 rear bumper for an AP2 rear and I've heard things like drilling two new holes and moving brackets so....
Does this swap work well?
Also, how do I go about doing it?

A lot of people have done it. You should also purchase the grille, and tow hook cover. The front splash shields are also needed if you don't want to modify your current splash shields
