ok so i was on the freeway and i was in 3rd...i went up to about 7rpm and all of a sudden i hear some freaken wierd noise not really scratchin but like wen you ride over some weir pavement and it sounds different. i go to fourth and i hear it again. i continue to drive normally already in 6th until i hear clickin noises under my car. i stop and check out the bottom and my freaken 02 sensor is hangin out!!!! wtf? so i try to connect it back into the catalytic converter but it's stripped from the street scrappin and the cat hole got larger with the vibration of the drivin. it doesn't fit so i take out the o2 sensor to avoid more damage and i drive home with my car soundin like it has some kind of retarded exhaust. i take it to acura and they tell me the catalytic converter was replaced and welded into the pipe from the previous owner. so warranty will not cover. i pay 500 to fix it. i take the reciept over to the mitsubishi dealership where i bought the car so they can pay but they say i should have taken it to them first because they have no way of knowin now since it's fixed if it was really true or even if acura could be lyin. mitsubishi looks up their records and they say they hav no notes watsoever on any welding! fre aken liars! so my question is...can i get somethin out of reportin them to the BAR?

there's no traces of the weldin anymore...acura put it on the receipt that there was weldin

 

damn that sucks, put the old one back on and see what they say.
by the way is your car modded or lowered sounds odd that the o2 sensor unbolted itself
