94 Honda Magna 750 won't start...
I've got a 94 Honda Magna 750 and it won't start. It had been sitting for 6-7 months and I got it running. I took it out for 5-6 miles and it was fine. Let it sit for another few months and the battery was dead. Put it on the charger (not disconnected) and charged the battery. Drained the tank and put new gas in it. Now it will crank like crazy but it won't start. Doesn't even sound like it wants to try to start... I haven't tried to pull a plug to see if I'm getting spark. Does anyone have anything I should check? Or a place to start? (Yes - the gas is turned on)

Probably not - if its cranking, its probably got enough voltage for spark. Check for voltage at the ignition coil(s) just to be sure, then test the plugs. You *might* get lucky and not have to clean the carbs - thats a V4, right?
Just recently found this thread. Not sure the date on it, my bad just clicked on it wanting to ask a question if anyone is still monitoring this post as of 10/25/22.
Haha ok so think I'm having a similar issue with my 94 magna 750, hoping to find out if the issue was resolved and how or maybe where to start with my own.
Ok while in the middle of a ride, 5th gear still accelerating after hitting a bump, so assuming possible short/bad wire. My bike backfired and immediately shut off, assuming fried the battery because will not hold charge now. But killed all power and what was a fairly new battery completely gone and won't hold charge. I could jump the bike which stayed running while connected to a running vehicle but as soon as it was either given any throttle at all or taken out of neutral it again shuts off and kills the battery completely. Far as I know I'm assuming it is bad stator/regulator. Just before spending the money on that was wanting to ask if it could possibly be something else. Thanks in advance.
