Default I need a radiator but....

Everyone hates on my car and only lists radiators made to fit the f22 and h22. I have a H23 auto and need to know which radiator I should be buying. If you know I would greatly appreciate your help!

Thanks,
Kristine

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Koyo h22 radiator will work for the h23 (or the f22 for that matter). The only difference is the mounting points for the fans. If you went ahead and bought some h22 slim fans along with the radiator, it should all just bolt right up.

if you go to checker, autozone, advance, pep boys. just get the one for the manuel h23, its the same as the auto one when you by it from a parts store.

I wanted to get a good quality one cuz this is like the 3rd time i have replaced the radiator. i want an aluminum one but on Koyo's website, there is only one for an H22 or F22. i just need to know which one is gonna fit.

Like I said, the only difference is the way the fans mount to the radiator. If you want to use your stock h23 fans, I believe that you will have to modify, fabricate, or purchase new brackets. If you buy new fans, such as Spal, they will come with their own brackets for you to mount the fans.

BTW, use the search function next time. I knew nothing about radiators this morning. I then saw this thread, used the search feature, and found all the information you were looking for and more.

yea, i apologize if i seem lazy but i really can't be looking a threads all day trying to find out if h23 radiators are the same as the f22 or h22 radiator. all i saw right off the bat was stuff about more popular hondas...civics and tegs. I need one right now today. it is leaking super bad. It just seems weird to me that my stock radiator would be different than both the f22 AND the H22, seems to me that it would be exactly the same as ONE of the two.

Go to a local shop/store that sells radiators, tell them what kind of car you have and that you want an aluminum one. They'll set you up with what you need.

Get the H22 radiator. It's the same as the H23. I am running one on my car. However, I am VERY surprised they don't list the Si when you search for radiators. Generally they list parts for the H23 (SI) since there are more SIs than SI-VTECs.

The F22 radiator will DEFINITELY not work. Completely different design.

keep in mind that most autos have cooling lines that run through the radiator, so if u got an h22 5spd one, it might not have the provisions. this is the case onthe accords, when u compare the 5spd and auto radiators, so i think it might be similar on the ludes?

that is the other thing i was afraid of!

Good thing I don't have to drive my car after today for a couple days.

As pointed out for me, I live in the sac area. You guys might have seen my car on here before tho. My ex posted up a couple pics a while ago.

ok, so got the radiator, things are going good. apparently h23 autos don't need performance so no one makes quality for it so i got a cheesy one. sad, but what are you gonna do! beggers can't be choosers. thanks again everyone.
