General 1993 Accord LX questions
Hey I have a 1993 4 door LX. Has around 160,xxx miles on it and I am looking at replacing all the coolant hoses. Is there a coolant hose kit that I can buy and will come with everything? Any reccommendations of how to tackle this task? Also I need to replace my front and rear motor mounts. Do you guys suggest to buy OEM mounts or go for a aftermarket company?

For your mounts i'd check with ESP.net....good guys to deal with and damn good quality....check out tasauto.com for the coolant hoses....they are 90-up accord specialists.. ..if its in the budget try to go for some afteramarket silicone hoses....but at the very least they carry OEM hoses....they should have you covered.

call honda and ask if there is a hose kit.

yeah, I've called and they said I'll just have to piece together the ones I like. I think I can take care of the hoses now my main concern is the mounts. The rear mount is almost $300 for the OEM one.

call the dealer and tell them you want all the coolant hoses ( radiator, heater and all the bypass hoses.. ) ,,,they cost around $ 90-110 ..
as for the mounts ,i would stick with factory parts .. shop around as to where you can get them cheaper ... non-Honda mounts have a tendency to collapse a lot sooner than factory mounts
