my bud just bought a 89 crx shell and were thinkn of throwing in a k24a motor and then make a t4/3 turbo on it and i was wundern if we could also put itbs on it also? according 2 sum of the ppl i talkd 2 they say it can b done. just need sum help here wit a drag car!

 

Anything can be done for the right price. Prepare to spend a lot of money and time.

 

itbs can be done, but your charge pipe is going to have to come into 3 y pipes or one menorah- looking thing to go into the motor. good luck

 

if i were you i'd just stick to the turboed k24 it will more then sattisfy you without the itb's. but we all know your not actually going to do it just talking so have fun with that.

I think u can do the k swap but the ITBS and turbo I say GEt them, run, and GTFO

 

Can it be done sure no problem. It will be harder to tune. More baller parts.

I would get a K24a1 block, build it with rods and pistons. Get the k20a2 oil pump. Get a K20a2 Head, swap the head onto the the k24a block. Then get a PRC intake manifold. A nice sidewinder turbo manifold. A GT35 turbo. A nice clutch. Nice axles. Hasport mount kit. A good amount of parts from Karcepts. Since you dont sound like the best Honda people get the Hasport wiring ****. Hondata Kpro. K20a3 transmission. LSD. Upgrade your feul system.

Yeah i dont want to start to price that out, its alot. Hope you have alot of funding and good luck. That is what i would do in my setup.

there is a box that surrounds the ITBs, and the charge piping connects to that.

and that will still be ITB? or it become just another intake manifold?

Look at it urself....did u even spend time to look at it? will you spend $2000 to get the ITB then blocked it or would u get something like victor X?
