sorry guys im sure this question has been answered a million times but.
Who makes a LSD for b16 cable trannys i have seen people say OBX but when i call them they say they dont, so im not sure if their is a different model that they make that will fit and also I have heard that Quaife makes one but im not sure, if these companys make one or if their are any others please let me know i would be very greatful thank you very much

Well see that is something that confused me i have heard of obx making one but i called them and they said no the didnt

kaaz is the shittttttttttttt. very good lsd's

 

need to contact quaife directly but so far KingMotorsports and JHP have told me that quaife dosent make one for the cable tranny. and OBX them selfs said they dont make one so if any on can disprove that please do because i would rather go with something cheaper

 

just busted my stock y1 diff called quaife and they said no , called kaaz they said no, called obx they said no, called honda they said no. There was not 1 usdm cable tranny w/lsd only jdm ys1 and y1!! I bought a brand new usdm type r tranny for $700 more than a quaife and I will definatly be able to utilze the shorter gearing

 

I have a YS1 cable tranny and I'm running a quaife lsd...

 

you have a 92-93 gsr ys1, same case as a hydro this is the only acception when it comes to my prior comment!!

 

the diff for the b16 cable tranny is exactly the same as for the b16 hydro. i had the quaife in my jdm s1 and j1 and y1 trans and also my usdm 90 ls transmission.

 

does a jdm type r lsd from a hydro traanny fit in a b16a tranny cable?

 

they all should make lsd's for your tranny...i'm looking for one for my trans...debating btwn finding a nice used one or buying the dreaded obx lsd brand new. i've heard alot of bad things about obx.
